Robert Kent earned his MBA in Project Management from Columbia Southern University, graduating in 2012. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Florida State University in 1996. His academic journey provided a strong foundation for his subsequent achievements as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, writer, and educator specializing in healthcare administration, process improvement, and organizational change.
Robert Kent is currently serving as a strategic advisor in the Executive Program Integration Office, Office of Human Capital Services, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (since April 2024). In this full-time, remote leadership role, he is responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the HCS Strategic Plan, creating best practice documents, identifying transformational opportunities, driving high-impact strategic initiatives, and optimizing organizational performance to deliver improved service.
